Arunachal Pradesh Tour Package 7 Days Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Dirang (390 km / 9 hours)

Upon arrival at Guwahati airport (around 8:00 AM), our representative will greet you.

Begin your journey to Dirang, a picturesque valley nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Arrive in Dirang by 5:00 PM and explore its key attractions, including Dirang Monastery, Dirang Dzong, Tibetan-style villages, and a hot water spring.

Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 2: Dirang Sightseeing – Transfer to Tawang (150 km / 8 hours)

After breakfast, enjoy the scenic beauty of Dirang valley, known for its lush hills and fruit orchards.

Start your drive to Tawang, passing through the majestic Sela Pass (13,700 ft), known for its breathtaking views and misty roads.

Visit Nuranang Falls and Jaswant Garh War Memorial en route.

Reach Tawang, a serene town perched on the Himalayan slopes. Explore its charming villages and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Tawang Local Sightseeing (50 km / 7 hours)

Post breakfast, explore the cultural and historical sites of Tawang.

Visit Craft Centre, Tawang War Memorial (enjoy the light and sound show in the evening), Apple Nursery, and Urgelling Monastery, the birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama.

Explore Ani Gompas (nunneries) and the iconic Tawang Monastery, a 300-year-old marvel and the second-largest Buddhist monastery in the world.

Overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 4: Excursion Around Tawang (100 km / 8 hours)

Start the day with a visit to Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

Head to Bum La Pass (15,200 ft), located on the Indo-China border (subject to road clearance by the Indian Army).

On your return, visit Heart Lake, PTSO Lake, and Naghula Lake for spectacular views.

Day 5: Tawang to Bomdila (190 km / 8 hours)

After breakfast, depart for Bomdila.

Visit local attractions like the Buddhist Monastery and Craft Centre.

Day 6: Bomdila to Guwahati – Airport Drop (350 km / 8 hours)

Begin your journey to Guwahati early in the morning (6:30-7:00 AM).

Reach Guwahati in the evening and transfer to the airport for your departure.

• Exclusions: Any item not explicitly mentioned in the ‘Inclusions’ section is excluded.
• Foreign Nationals: Additional charges such as national park entry fees, Protected Area Permits, and mandatory guide fees (for trips in Arunachal Pradesh) are not included and will be applicable separately.
