Upon arrival in Shillong, a charming hill station known as the “Scotland of the East,” we’ll check you into your hotel. If time permits, you can explore the city and enjoy its misty landscapes before settling in for the night.
After breakfast, we’ll embark on an exciting day trip covering Mawlynnong, Dawki, and Cherrapunji. Our first stop is at the iconic Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak, offering panoramic views of the region. Next, we proceed to Mawlynnong, celebrated as the cleanest village in Asia, where you’ll marvel at the famous Living Root Bridge. A short drive from here takes us to Dawki, a border town near Bangladesh, where you can enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River and admire the historic suspension bridge built by the British in 1932. After a day full of exploration, we’ll continue to Cherrapunji, where you’ll spend the night.

We’ll spend the day exploring its natural wonders, including the breathtaking Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, and the Seven Sisters Waterfalls. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the fascinating Living Root Bridges, a testament to the region’s unique culture. After a day filled with awe-inspiring sights, you’ll return to your hotel in Cherrapunji for a restful night.
Today, we embark on a scenic journey from Cherrapunji to Kaziranga, covering approximately 370 kilometers. As we drive through the lush landscapes of Meghalaya and Assam, you’ll witness the natural beauty of these states and have the chance to savor local delicacies along the way. Upon reaching Kaziranga, we’ll check you into your accommodation. If time allows, you may explore some of the local attractions before settling in for the night.
Your day begins with an early morning elephant safari inside Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its population of one-horned rhinoceroses. Afterward, you’ll have the chance to explore nearby attractions, including an orchid garden, a Karbi ethnic village, and the lush tea gardens that Assam is famous for. In the afternoon, we’ll take you on a thrilling jeep safari through the park, offering more opportunities to spot wildlife. You’ll spend the night at Kaziranga, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.
On your final day, we’ll drive back to Guwahati. If time permits, we’ll take you on a brief tour of the city’s key attractions, such as the revered Kamakhya Temple, the scenic Brahmaputra River, and the cultural center Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra. After a day of exploration, we’ll ensure you reach Guwahati Airport in time for your departure, bringing your memorable journey to a close.
